As it becomes available, you'll be able to read about the rich history of Armstrong, the Hotel and the surrounding area.
Click the pictures to get a glimpse of the good times.

Located in the Spallumcheen Valley, Armstrong is primarily an agricultural town with vested interests in Alfalfa and Wheat. They are known nationwide (and through the United States!) as the worlds leading producer of cheese.
While these and ranching are a majority of Armstrong's economy, tourism adds a seasonal monetary influx.
As a result, Armstrong has developed many points of interest around the valley.
The Museum and Art gallery has scads of historical media. Replicas of various historical bits. One of the original British Columbia School Houses resides here too, aptly named, The Old School House.
Our town is home to the Caravan Farm Theatre, the Okanagan Valley Wine Train, A Farmers Market (natch!), the Rockies (and tours galore!) and we hold the IPE!
If you're a duffer, Armstrong is no slouch. With The Royal York Gold Club in full swing, this 9 hole, 3200 yard, par 35 has been described as 'deceivingly difficult' (we assume on a number of occasions). |
